• Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process basic server logs (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested page, browser information) for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

3) Surveys (Google Forms / Microsoft Forms)

The questionnaires are hosted on third-party platforms such as Google Forms or Microsoft Forms. When you click the questionnaire button, you will leave this website. Your survey responses are collected and stored on the selected platform under its own terms and privacy practices.

We use survey responses for academic research (e.g., measuring emotional reaction, perceived innovativeness, and intention to visit). We aim to collect responses in a way that is anonymous or minimally identifying (depending on the questionnaire settings).

4) Purpose and legal basis

• Purpose: Academic research and statistical analysis of survey results.
• Legal basis: Your consent (you choose whether to participate).

5) Data retention

Survey data is retained for up to 24 months after the end of data collection (e.g., “up to 24 months after the end of data collection”) and then deleted or anonymized. Aggregated, non-identifying results may be kept longer for research reporting.

We do not sell personal data. Survey data may be accessed only by the research team and may be processed by the survey platform provider (Google/Microsoft) as part of providing the service.

Depending on the survey platform configuration and hosting, data may be processed in countries outside your own. Please consult the survey platform’s documentation for details.

8) Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including GDPR), you may have rights such as access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. If you want to exercise your rights, contact us at: claudiuap@yahoo.com.

• Anonymous public surveys: If the questionnaire is configured to collect responses anonymously (no name/email/login), we may not be able to identify your specific response in order to provide access or deletion. You can stop at any time before submitting the form.
• Student surveys (identified): If the questionnaire collects identifying information (e.g., name and institutional email) for course-related incentives, we can locate your submission and delete it or exclude it from analysis upon request, subject to academic/research recordkeeping requirements.

We may update this notice to reflect changes in research procedures or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
